A New Jersey Love story
On January 29, 2023, Peggy and Ferdinand will stand before their closest friends and family to join their lives in marriage and to celebrate a 30-year journey to the altar.
Peggy and Ferdinand first met in high school at a graduation party. Although Peggy arrived at the party with a date, Ferdinand took notice and struck up a conversation with her. Little did they know that the conversation would begin an unexpected love story that would span 3 decades.
A year ago, Peggy and Ferdinand were sick with covid. While Peggy recovered, Ferdinand’s cough lingered and seemed to be worsening. After multiple trips to the ER and numerous scans, Ferdinand was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer that had spread to his lymph nodes and bones.
A Tribute to Mandy
On November 17, 2021, Mandy and Ronnie stood with family and friends on the breathtaking grounds of the Barn at Willow Brook to renew their vows.
Amanda and Ronnie first met while working at the same company in 2004. They were both going through painful divorces and became a support to one another. They started dating a year later, instantly fell in love and were married in 2005.
In 2019, Mandy’s doctor noticed some concerning results on a routine blood panel. As a precaution, she underwent a series of liver tests, a biopsy and a colonoscopy. Sadly, the tests revealed a large mass in her colon that had likely been present for years. She was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer that had spread to her liver. Sadly, Mandy lost her battle with cancer on February 5, 2022, less than three months after her gorgeous vow renewal.
We are so honored to have played a small role in Mandy and Ronnie’s story and send all of our love and hugs to their family and friends as they continue to grieve her loss.
A DC Love Story
On November 17, 2021, Amanda and Ronnie will join with family and friends to renew their vows after 16 years of marriage.
Amanda and Ronnie first met while working at the same company in 2004. A year later, the company ended up going out of business and Amanda and Ronnie decided to give dating a shot. Turns out, they were perfect for each other.
In 2018, Amanda was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer that had spread to her liver. She has been undergoing a rigorous chemotherapy regiment in hopes of stopping the spread of her cancer, while allowing her body to get strong enough to withstand a surgery to remove the mass.
We have loved getting to know this sweet couple and cannot wait to grant their wish for a vow renewal. Amanda and Ronnie were married at the justice of the peace and are so excited to finally have a real wedding
