A New Jersey Love story
On January 29, 2023, Peggy and Ferdinand will stand before their closest friends and family to join their lives in marriage and to celebrate a 30-year journey to the altar.
Peggy and Ferdinand first met in high school at a graduation party. Although Peggy arrived at the party with a date, Ferdinand took notice and struck up a conversation with her. Little did they know that the conversation would begin an unexpected love story that would span 3 decades. Not long after the party, Peggy and Ferdinand began dating.
For years, their relationship endured many ups and downs before they sadly decided to part ways. Peggy went on to marry someone else and had two children. Ferdinand, on the other hand, remained single, certain that Peggy was the one for him. In January of 2021, Peggy reached out to reconnect. She had gone through a divorce and wanted to see if there was still a spark with Ferdinand. They fell back in love, this time for good.
A year ago, Peggy and Ferdinand were sick with covid. While Peggy recovered, Ferdinand’s cough lingered and seemed to be worsening. After multiple trips to the ER and numerous scans, Ferdinand was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer that had spread to his lymph nodes and bones. He began treatment immediately and continues to fight with Peggy by his side.
We’ve loved meeting this sweet couple and are excited to grant their wish for a wedding. We brought on an amazing planner in Danielle Rothweiler of Rothweiler Event Design and are thrilled with the remarkable team of wish granters that she has assembled. Just recently, our sweet photographer, Mary of MJC Image was able to capture Ferdinand’s surprise proposal to Peggy! It’s official – these two are ready to get married!
So many thanks to this wonderful team.
