#HOPE Campaign Award Winners Round 4

After the events of these past couple of weeks, one thing’s for certain – we could all use some hope right now.  Here’s a look at the winners in the final round of our #HOPE Campaign.

 Weddings by Danica

This creative wedding planner has been selflessly promoting and supporting other small businesses in her community through a bi-weekly Bridal Bingo game. The winner each week receives a $20 gift card to a local business.

Soul and Smoke

Thanks to the incredibly generosity of this Chicago-based catering crew, Soul and Smoke has been tirelessly working to provide thousands of free meals to the Evanston Community.

S & B Event Concepts and Catering

Thanks to S & B Event Concepts and Catering, first responders throughout Collegeville, PA have not gone hungry. The catering team was called upon by the local rotary and certainly rose to the occasion – providing up to 150 meals to date.

Louie’s Wholesale Flowers

This Philadelphia florist had the beautiful idea to deliver hundreds of roses to local hospitals to bless their nurses. Their goal is to make this campaign on-going and to spread love and happiness to the people who really need it right now.

Plannie, Inc.

When this Miami-based planner found most of her events either postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, she quickly switched gears and has started making masks and face shields out of her home.

BellaRu Catering

The folks at BellaRu Catering in Highland Park, IL have truly gone above and beyond to feed those in need in their community. In addition to providing groceries to more than 150 families per week, the crew has been delivering 500 meals per week to the homeless.

Maggie Speaks, Inc

Like many businesses within the event industry, live music and entertainment companies have been especially hit hard. The team behind Maggie Speaks, Inc, a 6-band musical corporation, based in Chicago, has been trying to do their part to support those around them. In addition to leading free webinars for musicians on how to apply for government funding, the groups have been creating and donating custom music videos for charitable organizations to use at their upcoming virtual galas.

You Name it Events

Just as the pandemic was beginning, Leanne, of You Name it Events, teamed up with an independent grocery store to assist with their online ordering system. At the time, the store was only seeing about 12 orders per day and has now increased to 200, thanks to her help. Additionally, Leanne would like to start purchasing food from local bakers and purveyors to then donate to the essential grocery store employees she has been working alongside.

J. Hollander Photography

It’s been a tough year to be a high school senior. To ease the pain of missing many of the pivotal events that seniors usually experience, J. Hollander Photography has been offering free portrait sessions to help document this unprecedented time.

Simply Catering

We have loved seeing all of the generous caterers out there who are using their unique skills to feed those in need. Simply Catering, in Carrolton, GA is no exception. This mother-daughter duo has been donating their time and talents, preparing and delivering delicious boxed lunches to local hospitals.

Sutlan + Co.

It’s always helpful to have someone with experience to lean on during tough times. Sutlan + Co, a Nashville- based wedding planner, has been leading the charge, educating the community and providing support to local vendors. The founder, Adriel has developed a digital platform to more easily connect vendors with planners in an effort to highlight and boost small businesses.

Amelia C & Co.

This Las Vegas based hair and makeup team has been volunteering with Shine A Light, a local addiction rehabilitation facility. The center typically receives rescued food from local buffets but has lost those donations due to Covid-19. Amelia C & Co had the wonderful idea to donate oven-ready meals to the facility.

We have been so overwhelmed by the amazing response that we’ve received from our #HOPE Campaign. Thank you, thank you, thank you for you sharing your creativity and generosity with us.

We have been moved by the kindness you have shown others and have been inspired to continue the good work you started.
