#HOPE Campaign Award Winners Round 3
If you’re needing a pick-me-up (because we sure are), here’s another round of #HOPE Campaign award winners!
Our sweet friend, The Garter Girl has been quite the busy bee during quarantine, sewing and distributing masks across the country. We’ve been working with Julianne for years now and are so thankful for the ways in which she has blessed our organization, including providing a custom garter to each one of our brides! Keep up the good work friend!
Kimberly, one of previous wish granters, and her husband, had the fantastic idea to create special gift baskets for the Healthcare Heroes in hometown. They’re filling the baskets with items to help ease their minds and calm their bodies after a long shift. As an added benefit to their community, the couple has been including gift cards to local businesses in each basket.
This high-energy event management company in DC has been working tirelessly to serve their local community. So far they’ve donated 800 gloves and 400 masks to the DC Dream Center and have served with Chef Jose Andres and World Central Kitchen to make 7000 meals in one day. They are focused on volunteering at least twice per week and intend to donate more masks, gloves and hot meals to those in need.
Located in Grand Rapids, MI, English Hills Event Center had the wonderful idea to prepare and deliver meals to doctors and nurses who are working overtime and don’t have time to cook for their families. Additionally, the event center has agreed to offer free future room rentals to those working on the front lines.
We love seeing our past wish granters helping others! When they’re not working hard serving the brides of Philadelphia, this full-service hair and makeup team has been volunteering their time with the homeless population in their area.
The sweet folks behind Pottinger Photography have recruited their family, friends and neighbors to start cutting and sewing masks for their community. One person donated a sewing machine, while others donated fabric and thread and an iron – such great teamwork! Additionally, the Kentucky based photographer is offering free family sessions and prints to medical workers in her city and would love to include makeup and hair services for them.
This adorable wedding and events boutique in Cincinnati, OH has truly gone above and beyond to help those affected by this pandemic. While they typically create custom design elements for weddings, they’ve switched gears and laser printing S-hooks for hospital masks. They’ve currently produced 5000 hooks and are sending them to local hospitals and nurses for free. Bravo!
N.E.S. Bridal, LLC (Scottsdale Bridal Expo)
The Scottsdale Bridal Expo is doing their part for the bridal industry in their community by offering complimentary spaces and discounts to businesses that plan to attend their expo. The expo, which will take place on Sunday, August 2, is free to attend and will feature many of the areas top wedding vendors. What a great way to help the local economy!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of these winners. Your hard work, creativity and kindness is an inspiration to so many!
