On July 21, 2019, Danielle and Brandon gathered with family and friends at Fete the Venue to renew their vows to one another in a touching and deeply emotional ceremony.

The couple first met when they were just 14 years old and became friends but did not starting dating until they were 20. Once they got together, they knew they were right for each other and quickly got engaged. They were married in a quiet ceremony on March 17, 2008 and have spent the last 11 years falling more deeply in love.

For this young couple, the vow to love each other in sickness and in health has been repeatedly put to the test. When Danielle was just 26, she began to experience chronic pain issues in her back and hips. In 2015 she discovered an apricot sized lump in her breast but was told that it was benign. Two years later, an MRI revealed a growth in her hip which sadly turned out to be stage 4 breast cancer. Unfortunately, by the time her cancer was discovered, it had advanced considerably. She underwent aggressive chemotherapy for five months but has continued to steadily decline in health.

Wish Upon a Wedding was moved by this couple’s story and was honored to grant their wish for a vow renewal. We teamed up with the amazing, Magical Moments by Megan and were blown away by her vision, creativity and heart of gold. Megan enlisted the help of an impressive list of vendors who lent their time and talents for the special day.

The festivities began on July 19th with an intimate rehearsal dinner at Roger’s Gardens. Danielle and Brandon were showered with love by their close friends and enjoyed a delicious dinner and a gorgeous table scape. Come wedding day, every last detail had been accounted for. From the breathtaking flowers and beautiful furniture, signage and décor, to the gourmet food, super fun mocktail bar, photobooth experiences, decadent dessert station and showstopper cake, Danielle and Brandon received the royal treatment.
