A Music City Vow Renewal

On May 5, 2019, Cathy and Scott gathered among family and close friends on the grounds of serene Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, TN to recommit their lives to one another in a moving and tear-filled vow renewal ceremony.

Cathy and Scott first met online just over 15 years ago. After getting to know each other over the phone for a couple of months, they decided to meet in person. Following their first official date, they saw each other for six days straight, promptly got engaged and were married 10 days later.

Throughout the years, Cathy has battled more than her fair share of troubling health issues, including Lyme disease, Pot Syndrome and heartbreaking infertility. Finally, though, after years of struggle, the couple was blessed with two beautiful sons.

In 2017, Cathy began to experience some unexplained pain in different parts of her body. Because of her previous illnesses, she wasn’t sure whether or not her new symptoms were related. She underwent numerous tests through a variety of doctors before receiving the news that no woman ever wants to get. Cathy had been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her bones. She has spent the last year undergoing an exhausting treatment regiment, all while caring for her family and homeschooling her boys.

Wish Upon a Wedding was touched by Cathy and Scott’s story and was honored to be a part of their very special day. We enlisted the help of an amazing team of wish granters who blew us away with their generosity.

The day went off without a hitch and Cathy and Scott were treated to a gorgeous barn setting, breathtaking flowers, a decadent feast, amazing cake and lovely music.
