An Orlando Rock N Roll Vow Renewal
On September 19, 2019, Denise and Erik gathered with family and close friends on the red carpet of the super-chic Hard Rock Hotel to renew their vows.
For this fun-loving couple, the day was a perfect celebration of all that Denise and Erik love the most – their family and friends, rock and roll and most importantly – each other.
Erik and Denise first met years ago at a concert, where they bonded over their mutual love of music. They soon started dating and quickly fell in love. Three years into their dating relationship, Denise became pregnant. They were married in a small, intimate ceremony with only family and a couple of friends and nine months later, welcomed their daughter into the world.
Throughout their 25-year marriage, Denise and Erik have weathered a lot of storms, including layoffs, moves and now sickness. A couple of years ago, after experiencing a fall that resulted in a collapsed lung, Denise was struggling to recover. Finally, she decided to have her lungs scanned again to assess whether or not she was healed. Much to her dismay, the scan revealed a large number of spots on her good lung. Further testing revealed the worst.
She was diagnosed with lung cancer and began a rigorous chemotherapy and radiation scheduled. She has recently switched to an immunotherapy treatment, in hopes of slowing the progression of her disease. Throughout it all, Denise and Erik have remained positive and hopeful.
We had such a blast granting Denise and Erik’s wish for a vow renewal and were truly amazed by the incredible generosity of our team of wish granters. From start to finish, the day was everything the couple could have hoped for and more. From super fun details like the red carpet and electric guitar centerpieces, to the delicious lunch, drop dead gorgeous flowers and lively dancing, everything about the day was incredibly magical.
We most certainly couldn’t do what we do without the love and support of our wish granters. This special team went above and beyond and we are so very grateful. Thank you all!
