An Orange County Love Story

On January 30, 2019, Esther and Ernesto will gather among friends and family to profess their love for one another and begin a new chapter in their lives. For this young, beautiful couple, the journey to the altar has been a long one.

Esther and Ernesto first met a few years ago at a local restaurant. Esther was actually there on a date with someone else and caught the eye of Ernesto when she walked across the bar. They ended up chatting later that evening and both felt an immediate spark for one another. They began dating soon after.

After a few years, the couple decided to get more serious and start a family. Unfortunately their dreams of having a baby were dashed when Esther was diagnosed with an aggressive form of hormone-fueled triple negative breast cancer in early 2018.

Shortly after her diagnosis, she learned that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. She immediately underwent a double mastectomy and has endured multiple rounds of exhausting treatments and chemotherapy. Through it all, Ernesto has stood by Esther’s side and cared for her each step of the way.

We loved meeting this sweet couple and cannot wait to grant their wish for a wedding later this week. We’ve assembled an amazing team of wish granters and are so thankful for their incredible generosity thus far.
