A Tribute to Rosemarie

On December 18, 2019, Rosemarie and Hardip (Happy) stood before their nearest and dearest to renew their vows and to rejoice in a love that has stood the test of time.

Rosemarie and Happy first met when she was 17 and he was 24. Although they were instantly drawn to each other, it took some convincing to get their families on board. Eventually, it became clear to everyone that this sweet couple was meant to be together. They were married soon after Rosemarie graduated college and spent the next few years building a family.

In 2015, Rosemarie discovered a lump in her breast. She was proactive and immediately had it checked out. Sadly, she was diagnosed with breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes. She underwent a double mastectomy, as well as, radiation and chemotherapy and felt very positive about her future prognosis.

This past January, however, a pet scan revealed that the cancer had spread to her brain, lungs and bones. While Rosemarie fought with all of her strength, her disease continued to progress. Rosemarie lost her battle with cancer on January 13th, 2020, just four weeks after their touching vow renewal ceremony. Our hearts go out to this wonderful family as they mourn the loss of their beautiful wife and mother.

We adored this couple from day one. Rosemarieโ€™s upbeat spirit, incredible perspective on life and unwavering love for her family touched us deeply and inspired so many people. It was truly an honor to grant Rosemarie and Happyโ€™s wish and we are so thankful for the many people who came along side us to shower them with love.

Rosemarie and Happyโ€™s wish perfectly reflected her vibrant spirit. From the gorgeous floral arrangements to the glamourous tablescapes, gourmet food, beautiful cake and personal touches, our wish team went above and beyond to bless this couple with unforgettable memories. We hope that these beautiful photos will serve as a reminder of the love that Rosemarie and Happy shared and will comfort their family in the years to come.
