The Wish Upon a Wedding New York Valentine’s Masquerade Ball this past February was an absolute success. Many generous supporters, sponsors, partners and Wish Granters united to create an unforgettable evening filled with love and support for Wish Upon a Wedding and all of our future Wishes. It’s truly exciting to see the Wish Upon a Wedding mission continue to shine in New York and beyond, with around 300 guests in attendance in their fancy gowns, tuxedos and masks!
Alpine Creative Group brought our vision to life through our fabulous Save the Dates and Invitations. It wouldn’t have been possible without their design talent!
Guests were welcomed into the evening by striking a pose at the step-and-repeat, with all step-and-repeat photography being captured by the brilliant Sarah Merians Photography.
The wonderful Conrad New York Hotel went over the top with every single detail and Union Square Events offered a multitude of delicious hors d’oeuvres and passed entrees, along with a custom craft cocktail. Everything, literally EVERYTHING, fit the overall vibe perfectly! Take a peek at the amazing mask ice sculpture below.
Luxe Event Rentals donated spectacular pieces of furniture and unique décor items that were the foundation of the sexy, Masquerade theme. The marvelous rose couch was a statement that many guests sat in to snap their evening selfie. It was picture perfect!
No party would be complete without the legendary City of Six Band of Generation Events. This talented group of entertainers had everyone dancing the night away with their beautiful voices, magnificent music selection and fun energy!
The striking combination of red, magenta and pink sprinkled throughout the luscious rose and carnation arrangements designed by the renowned Fleurs NYC topped every table in sight. All fabulous paper items designed by Invitations by Ana Dolan offered the perfect touch as well!
As guests took a break from dancing and sipping on their drink of choice, Oysters XO surprised guests with live oyster shucking. It was a huge hit and was such a tasty treat!
Guests also had a chance to have an artist from Drawn Together NYC sketch or paint them in their fancy attire, and then were able to take home their work of art as a party favor! Such a unique activity to incorporate into any event.
Nuage Designs stunning linens complemented the overall décor with gorgeous texture and a little sparkle, offering a lovely tablescape for our Silent Auction. Big thank you to all of our Silent Auction donors for offering your products and services! We appreciate it immensely.
As the party continued through the evening, the well-known DJ Jason Fioto of Generation Events rocked it out on the turntables with his perfect compilation of tunes and songs. He knows how to keep the party jamming, with both old hits and popular songs!
Everyone left with a bottle of RESQWATER to stay hydrated throughout the rest of the night! No headaches are allowed on the morning after attending a Wish Upon a Wedding gala.
Of course, we can’t forget the sinfully sweet desserts by Union Square Events. This mini ice cream cone station was a huge hit at the end of the night!
Thank you to our Diamond Partners, Linsey Snyder Wachalter of Face Time Beauty and Jeremy Wachalter of Cobblestone Catering, for standing by our side throughout the years and offering endless encouragement for Wish Upon a Wedding. Many thanks to you both for your support! As well, thank you to our Benefit Committee Members for your donations and involvement: Ashley Douglass Events, Lindsay Landman Events, Leslie Mastin Events, Twirl New York, Gabriella New York Bridal Salon and LuxeBridge.
Now, it’s time to get a sneak peek into the Valentine’s Masquerade Ball highlight reel! Thanks to Whyman Studios for the awesome videography.
Lastly, the Valentine’s Masquerade Ball would have not been possible without the Wish Upon a Wedding New York Board. Special shout out to Eyal Tessler, the New York Events Chair, for planning and designing an outstanding gala!
