I Won’t Give Up

Jill & Kevin first met at a bar, and they immediately knew that there was something special between them. After years of dating, they were engaged and decided it was time to tie the knot. This young couple had only their future ahead, and it looked wonderful. But soon Jill began experiencing elevated back pain, and went to the doctor to have it checked out. After further testing, Jill was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer at the age of 32.

Since then, JIl continues to fight the disease, as she is on a clinical trial that gives her hope for a cure for Breast Cancer. The past year and a half has been really tough for Jill, Kevin, and their families. In November of 2011, they were given the news that the cancer had spread, but they continued to keep a positive attitude and fight as much as they could, together. Jill’s wishes are simple: A future where she would not be sick, and watching her son grown into a man. She also wished for a way to marry the love of her life. But due to the illness, plans of getting married were put on hold. Then she heard about Wish Upon A Wedding. With the help of Wish Upon A Wedding New Jersey, their wedding dreams and wishes became a reality.

With a fabulous venue, phenomenal vendors, and even a wedding dress designer who custom designed Jill’s wedding gown, the day could not have been more perfect. Celebrating this momentous occasion with a Pink & Black theme and a room full of love, Jill & Kevin experienced a magical first day to the rest of their lives together. Their first dance was truly so fitting for Jill & Kevin, “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz. We wish them all the best & thank all of our amazing Wish Granters for their services.
