Meet Liznay Rodriguez & Norberto
Norberto’s memories of Liznay date back to when they were young – playing in a neighbor’s yard in Puerto Rico. A quick glance and a smile to a pretty girl next door. Did he know back then they would someday be husband and wife?
Though their first sighting was a typical childhood coincidence the real test of time came years later when Liznay tended bar at a local sports cafe. A night out on the dance floor … Boy meets girl on dance floor… boy asks girl to dance…and the rest is history.
Moving to the US and starting a family were priorities in both of their lives. They however did not know that they were in for the battle of a life time. Liznay was diagnosed with cervical cancer initially and recently found out that the cancer had spread to her lungs and thigh. They both are figters have never given up! Having moved in with the their families, Norberto now can dedicate his time and energy to Liznay’s health and treatments as well as caring for their son.
While hopes of opening a restaurant are placed on hold, Liznay & Norberto count their blessings each day keeping in their hearts the love they share with their son, Dylan.
With the love and support of their family and friends together with the Wish Upon a Wedding Boston / NEw England Chapter.. we are pleased in sharing our next Wedding Wish between Liznay & Norberto in May, 2012 at The Villa at Ridder Country Club in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts
