Imagine the coolest wedding you’ve ever been to for a very special couple and multiply that by 10. That would be the wedding of Alexis and Christian which took place at Villa Rinata in Houston, Texas on Sunday, November 20th. Orange snap dragons perfectly matched Christian’s Mohawk and pink roses to mirror the crowning glory of Alexis’s tresses. Here is a small peek into Wish Upon a Wedding Houston’s second wedding wish.
Coordinated by Occasions Galore by Erika, the ceremony was intimate and sweet with their dear friend, Big Al Bartel, officiating the ceremony. Christian, dressed by Al’s Formal Wear, and Alexis, dressed by Marry Go Round Bridal, exchanged personal vows. There was not a dry eye in the house as they were announced Mr. and Mrs.! From the moment Alexis was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, Christian has been by her side and over time the nurses began calling him Mr. Kidd, Alexis’ last name. Christian decided to make it official and became Mr. Christian Kidd.
The reception was a colorful display creatively designed by Dream Bouquet and Over the Top Linens to truly reflect the couples’ rock star style. Guests dined on a fabulous meal preapred by City View Catering and sweet treats beautifully crafted by Who Made the Cake and The Cookie Girl. Unique Style Productions rocked the night away and even taught the groom how to do the Wobble. As the night came to an end, the couple took a break from their scooters and were escorted in style to the Westin Memorial City Hotel by A Formal Limousine and Transportation.
Although nothing is promised with Alexis’ prognosis, the couple vows to spend their time making memories that will last until the end of time.
