John & Jaynel are an amazing and fun couple filled with laughter! Both are writers, they met at the Association Writers Professionals, spending much of the day together after initially meeting talking and reading about short stories. Living in 2 different places, Jaynel in San Francisco and John in Utah, the relationship started as a wonderful friendship via the phone and text messaging and eventually blossomed into love. They were engaged Christmas 2010.
Several years prior to meeting John, Jaynel was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. As a marathon runner, Jaynel had gone from training to run, to learning how to walk again. Every month Jaynel gets infusion treatments, has struggled with slurred speech, and walking with a cane, and overall neurological pain. John has stayed by her side throughout it all. Jaynel truly feel that she has someone by her side not matter what and loves her unconditionally.
Believing in each other and encouraging one another to do the best they can makes them stronger. John and Jaynel put it best, “ We choose happiness”… Jaynel and John will getting married this month at the beautiful Julia Morgan Ballroom!
