Both Robin and Nick live with cerebral palsy and are both confined to wheel chairs. They met while taking college classes and discovered that they live in the same assisted living facility. While Robin played hard to get, Nick was determined and with a bit of cunning on Nick’s behalf they went out for the first time and have been inseparable since. Both of these two have faced tragedy as they each have lost a parent; Nick his father and Robin her mother. While cerebral palsy has made life difficult and makes people stop to ask why this has happened, it doesn’t take too long before Nick’s infectious smile and Robin’s gentle guiding has everyone around them beaming and laughing. Robin and Nick are truly beautiful people and Las Vegas is blessed to have shared this day with them.
Their wedding took place at Loews Lake Las Vegas and had an incredible team of wedding professionals that donated their services to make Robin and Nick’s wedding wish come true. Robin’s love of bright colors, rainbows, unicorns and dolphins was incorporated into the fun decor elements throughout the ceremony and reception.
The Las Vegas Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding is truly excited to have granted its first wedding wish. Robin and Nick were married on June 8th 2011 on a beautiful Las Vegas summer day and while there were many amazing and beautiful components to their day, the most beautiful part was seeing these two together and getting married.
