Lisa and Douglas were wed in May of 2011 in a lovely ceremony held in Orange County, California. Doug suffers from MS, as well as moyamoya disease, a rare disorder that constricts blood flow to the brain.

The Orange County Register reported that “The sky was clear and sunny, a soft breeze blew. Even the Marines at nearby Camp Pendleton seemed to be part of the event, starting artillery practice just in time for the ceremony as if it were part of a gun salute for the couple.”
