The St. Louis wedding industry pulled together last week to donate their time and talents to make the dream of walking down the aisle and marrying her fiancé come true for Danielle, a young woman from Fenton, Missouri suffering from end-stage cystic fibrosis.
The wedding of Danielle and Tony, which took place on September 1, 2010 was attended by more than 40 of the couple’s closest friends and family. All of the details of the event were coordinated and donated by Wish Upon a Wedding, including a dinner reception following the ceremony themed “A Night in Paris.” The theme reflected Danielle’s affinity for the city of lights and allowed the young newlyweds to create memories for their families and friends to cherish forever.
“We could not have done any of this without the tremendous support of our wish granters,” said Lacy Branch, president of the St. Louis chapter. “The backing we have received for our organization from the local wedding industry has just been phenomenal. We are so grateful for all of the enthusiasm and encouragement our chapter has experienced since its inception earlier this year.”
With less than two weeks notice, the following local wedding professionals donated their time and services to plan the dream wedding for Danielle and Tony. Wish granters for the unforgettable ceremony included:
- Sara Grus Weddings served as the wedding planner
- The Four Seasons Hotel provided the venue for the ceremony and reception, as well as catering for the dinner.
- Signature Studios served as the wedding photographer and Gebbs Wedding Films provided the videography.
